General Rules
-
Draw to take place 1hr before start time. It would be nice if you weighed-in if you catch, as this helps the club understand how the lakes are fishing. Also this helps the League as points are awarded for where you finish + section points + 5 points if you are still there at the end, even if you blank.
-
You can only fish halfway to the next peg, even if it is not pegged.
-
It would be nice if Anglers stayed to the end for the payouts as some go home when they are in the top 3 or 4. If we have over 18 in the pool we pay the top 4. Sections of 4 or 5, see sheet on the morning for information or payouts
-
With 7 Anglers or less, we will pay the the top 2. The float only 4 Lake Challenge is based on sections + 1 extra point for the winner. Pools for this match will be paid to section winners. The Float and Feeder is one trophy.
-
As from the 2023/2024 season, the League scoring will enable competitors to miss 2 matches without being penalised. If a competitor fishes every match, then their worst 2 results will be deducted from the count-up. Missing more than two matches, the respective results will count as Zero,
-
If you fish any non-club waters you will need to dip your nets before the draw to keep the club waters safe.
-
If the water level on the lakes is too low for your nets to be in enough water, you can place your box in the water or wade out to your nets if you want to sit on the bank.
-
No rake throwing prior to the start of a match. A weed cutter may be attached to the end of a landing net handle if required
Cox Lake
-
An Unhooking mat is required and must be used when weighing-in to place your keepnet on in case you need more than one weigh. Also if you need to unhook your fish on the bank.

There will now be 4 sets of scales placed around the the lake with a weigh net for any Carp over 10lb to be weighed-in straight away and then put back. Weight to be witnessed by the Angler next to you and written down.
